In
March 2024, Bureau Veritas (BV) issued a Carbon Footprint Verification
Declaration to PHOMI HOLDING for its econiclay coverings (ecoverings) and
ecological BIPV (eBIPV) products.
PHOMI's
econiclay coverings have seen widespread application from damp coastal areas to
arid desert zones, from freezing Nordic regions to scorching Middle Eastern
climates, capturing over 12% market share. Derived from ecoverings, eBIPV is
applicable to residential, commercial, and industrial building facades, as well
as infrastructure. Unlike conventional solar panels where dark solar cells are
encased in glass, PHOMI's eBIPV offers a variety of natural textures and
patterns, along with solar power generation capabilities, breaking away from
the visual monotony of black or deep blue facades. Moreover, this innovative
material extends beyond rooftop solar applications, with potential
diversification into areas such as automotive and mobile devices.
Imagine
this scenario: utilizing eBIPV on sun-exposed walls and rooftops, coupled with
ecoverings on shaded surfaces, ground areas, and interiors. Such combinations
not only significantly reduce construction costs but also enhance architectural
aesthetics, truly integrating photovoltaics into building design. With
increasing technological innovations, envisioning a future where these concepts
become tangible reality is within reach, promising positive changes in the
ecological landscape.
